Hi, Marz, Your Roddenberry quote struck me as an argument for the globalization that is occurring and how the technology is shrinking the gap in the world. Technology is helping us to learn about other cultures in a more rapid pace. If you have never watched a Shift Happens video, I would strongly recommend it. They can be found on YouTube. Shawn Hi Marz, I love your quote from Maya Angelou. It so true and emphasizes what this course is all about. The fact that diversity should be acknowledged and celebrated. I like that you have the understanding image with the quote about fear. It is true that as our understanding of other groups increase the fear of the unknown decreases. -Abbey Hi Marz, I like the quote form Madame Curie. I find it fascinating that she had such profound insight in her time. It also worries me that people have known these insights for so long, but the world is still in the shape it is. Katie
